CalCannabis new logo new name and now on social media – 13 March 2017 Hello CalCannabis Cultivation Licensing Stakeholders: As many of you may have noticed, we have officially changed our name from the Medical Cannabis Cultivation Program (MCCP) to CalCannabis Cultivation Licensing (or CalCannabis for short), now that we’re mandated by state law to develop regulations to license cultivators of adult-use cannabis in addition to medical cannabis.

Along with our name change, we have a new logo and we just launched three social media platforms, which we encourage you to follow for updates, photos, and other highlights of our work at CalCannabis:

FACEBOOK: @CACultivationLicensing

We also will continue to keep you up to date on the CalCannabis website: calcannabis.cdfa.ca.gov

As to the question on everyone’s mind these days: When will the draft regulations for cannabis cultivators be released?

The draft medical-cannabis regulations will be released early this spring.

The draft adult-use cannabis regulations are expected to be released this summer.

We will let you know the instant they’re available, as we certainly want to get your feedback.

We’ll be in touch again soon.
