Applications Open in Nevada for a Short Window
NOTICE OF INTENT TO ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FOR MEDICAL MARIJUANA ESTABLISHMENT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nevada Department of Taxation is seeking applications from qualified applicants to be awarded medical marijuana cultivation and medical marijuana production establishment registration certificates in counties that do not currently have medical marijuana registration certificates issued by the state of Nevada. This application process is open to both those who hold and those who do not hold current Nevada medical marijuana establishment registration certificates.
Pursuant to Senate Bill 487, Section 30, subsection 4(a), with respect to medical marijuana establishments that are not medical marijuana dispensaries, the Department will accept applications for medical marijuana cultivation facilities and production of edible marijuana products or marijuana-infused products facilities in each county.
The Department will be accepting applications for cultivation and production establishments for ten (10) business days from:
January 2, 2018 through January 16, 2018
Applications must be postmarked by the United States Postal Service within the ten (10) business day period or physically received in the Department’s Carson City office by 5:00 P.M. on January 16, 2018. Any application received prior to January 2, 2018, will not be considered. Carefully read the instructions within the application regarding the mailing and walk-in procedures.
