OLCC Marijuana Pesticide Testing

OLCC Marijuana Pesticide Testing

OLCC Marijuana Pesticide Testing – The Oregon Liquor Control Commission today approved a temporary rule that extends the current marijuana pesticide testing protocol. The temporary rule complements similar action taken on March 2, 2017 by the Oregon Health Authority, which is responsible for setting rules and standards for testing marijuana products.

This means the current process for OLCC licensed producers and wholesalers to test one out of three batches per harvest lot for pesticides remains in effect.
The OLCC temporary rule simply removes any mention of a deadline date and remains in place if the agency continues to determine there is insufficient lab capacity in place for the testing of pesticides.
